The Rough Rider (Honolulu, Hawaii)

The Fuller House is a sitcom on Netflix that premiered on February 26, 2016. The continuation of The Full House where all the kids on this show have grown up. This show is one of the Netflix originals.

The show’s cast include Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, along with their children. It is great to see that they kept the original while adding in some new characters to it.

New characters in the show helps create a fresh and brand new feeling. New faces also help with creating interests as the bond with the characters we are familiar with. Some of the new cast includes the kids played by Michael Campion, Elias Harger, and Soni Bringas. The new faces are sometime the reason why we are watching The Fuller House. Like Matt Harmen played by John Brotherton.

Having the original cast act in the new show a good thing as we are familiarized to their faces. If new actors were to fill in those spots, the show would not be the same. The show also guest stars the adults that appeared on the show. They always bring humor into the different scenes. Seeing how the cast has changed really makes one think how long this show has been around.

In this new season, the introduction is something to look forward to and love as it brings back memories. The Full House song will never get old.

Beside the funny cast and the scenes, there are some boring scenes. Scenes that would make one fast forward to a part that catches attention. Sometimes the long conversations that the character’s have are not the most interesting to watch, it slows down the episode.

Along with the scenes that do not keep attention, it is funny to see how they added current events to the episodes. Recalling one of the episodes when they brought up the name Donald Trump, it was very funny.

As a viewer who also knows another language, Netflix has the option of changing the audio. The are different languages from Spanish to Chinese. This is a great way for people to understand and watch the show. Sometimes watching it in another language is funny and gives a better understanding when the English isn’t clear.

The Fuller House may not be the same as the old one, but we can look towards the future with the new faces involved. Giving the show a rating of eight out of ten. As this show is fully complete a second season has yet to come next year.
